After showing at PIFAN, Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival (S. Korea), OFF/ON Warszawa (Poland), Venice Circuito OFF (Italy) and Lund Fantastisk (Sweden), "AFTERVILLE" by Fabio Guaglione and Fabio Resinaro won GRAND Sci-Fi Prize at RHODE ISLAND Film Festival (USA) and entered programming in Italian Sci-Fi TV Channel STEEL by Mediaset Premium.
"AfterVille", co-produced by the all Italian joint venture of FastForward - BB Productions - Fabio&Fabio with the support of the Piedmont Film Commission of Turin, continued its journey around the world where it was recently awarded the prestigious "MELIES D'ARGENT" for BEST EUROPEAN SHORT MOVIE at 2008 SITGES FANTASTIC (one of the top Fantastic Film Festivals in the world).
Every MELIES D'ARGENT award-winning film competes for the 2009 "MELIES D'OR" Ceremony, the Grand Award that declares the Best European Motion Picture from the Fantasy Genre each year.

In the next two months, "AfterVille" will be projected during a special Fabio&Fabio Night held in Nantes at UTOPIALES 2008 (November 1st), where a live orchestration by French Progressive Band called Escape from Mig-21 will accompany projection of "The Silver Rope", second short movie of the Italian Directing Duo that travelled the world in 2007 and was selected for Puchon Choice of PIFAN 2007 ("WORLD'S TOP 10 SHORT MOVIES OF THE YEAR).
"AfterVille" will then show at Molodist International Film Festival (Kyiv, Ukraine), Festival de Cine Fantastico de Malaga (Spain), Trieste SciencePlusFiction (Italy) and Leuven Short Film Festival (Belgium).
